Day 47
We are beginning to get excited about RAGBRAI that starts Sunday. Emails are coming daily with updates and we continue to watch weather. The clouds form each afternoon but the storm warnings are becoming less frequent. Thank goodness!! Hoping for good weather next week.
Tonight we see Chris Stapleton. I can’t remember the last time we stayed up late. We’re typically up at 5:30 am and asleep around 10 pm.
Around 6, we head to the CHI Health Center for the concert. The people watching is over the top! So fun but not quite like Coachella.
Two opening bands ( Marty Stuart! and War and Treaty) played and then Chris Stapleton. Such an amazing concert with such talented musicians. And so cool to learn the female vocalist is his wife.
After the concert, the area cleared out relatively quickly. Nicely done Omaha. Dinner was back in the room-sliders cooked in the microwave and leftovers from yesterday. By 1 am, we were able to call it a night. Another fabulous day!!
